Abstract
Launched in 1997, The Super-Efficient Home Appliance Initiative (SEHA) is a national program designed to stimulate manufacturer and consumer interest in highly efficient home appliances. It provides a nationally recognized definition of "super-efficiency" through the establishment of performance tiers that utilities can voluntarily adopt for use in local programs.
