Consumer Electronics Program Guide - Revised 2016
Date PublishedSeptember 30, 2016
The primary purpose of this Program Guide is to support the goals of the CEE Consumer Electronics Initiative and serve as an informational resource for efficiency program administrators when designing or modifying their voluntary programs. Insights from this document should result in better-informed program designs that achieve their energy savings targets and support the market development of energy efficient consumer electronics. The Program Guide describes market actors and approaches to overcome relevant barriers that have been developed with both efficiency industry and electronics industry expertise.
The Program Guide is also intended to serve as an informational resource for vested energy efficiency industry partners: consumer electronics product manufacturers, retailers, and service providers. It also aims to equip these partners with an increased understanding of the tools efficiency programs are, or will be, considering and an improved sense for opportunities that may exist to collaborate with efficiency programs.
